Building on the established relationship between Kharafi Global in Kuwait and Foodcraft Solutions, Yael Mejia was retained as brand consultant in 2007 to bring her London concept to Dubai, UAE.

Assisted by a local project management company and architects in London and Dubai, Yael set out to bring as much of the Baker & Spice design, style, charm and originality from the quaint and classic neighbourhoods of London to the glitz and glamour of today’s Dubai.

Foodcraft Solutions controlled the brand DNA, visual identity, interior design, kitchen design, identified appropriate suppliers and adapting of the London recipes to the multitude of flavours and ingredients popular and available in the new territory. We created new menus and contracted an opening training team.
