Foodcraft Solutions launched a Baker & Spice inspired concept in Kuwait City in 2001, BREDZ.

This was the first opportunity to extend the original retail concept into a fully-fledged bakery and café, and the first project by Foodcraft Solutions with Kharafi Global.

The DNA for BREDZ was established after extensive research into raw ingredient availability and the logistics of importing from further afield. In light of this research, we reconfigured recipes and designed the restaurant menus. We designed the kitchens and the bakery, locating and identifying equipment manufacturers.

Our team trained a staff of 20 and the embedding of recipes and work practices took two months to accomplish.

Further visits were necessitated in order to update recipes and menus to suit the palettes of the local clientele.
