Yael continues her journey to locate and source fresh produce directly from local farmers in the UAE. During her quest to identify farms that would supply ingredients to Baker & Spice Dubai’s kitchens, Yael concluded that there was no better way to make the local population change their shopping habits than by demonstrating how fabulous locally grown produce was.

Foodcraft Solutions founded and organised the first ever Farmers’ Market on the Terrace. The day-long event was a resounding success as delighted UAE residents made their way to buy fresh farm produce grown locally that is otherwise difficult to obtain in regular shops and supermarkets.

We are now working on establishing a permanent Farmers’ Market in the UAE.
