Bakken met Passie

Baked in a stone oven using great ingredients, active sourdoughs from the bakery in London and long rising times, the bread list featured all the original breads created in the Victorian ovens of Baker & Spice in London, as well as a full range of viennoiserie and some of our cakes and biscuits.

Co says: “Bakken met Passie is still a great pleasure. After the fire (October 2007) we made a total new bakery and shop, we reopened in February 2008 and the business is the most famous bakery in the Netherlands. More than our Simon Meijssen bakery and shops, a business which celebrated its 100th birthday on 12th March 2010.

But this is not important. Important is making the finest bread and pastry. Making people happy with honest products. Having the best bakers and patissiers is the most important object. But this will be always a great object.”
